One of the brilliant actors, bharathanatyam exponent Sridhar getting fame worldwide for his cultural program caliber gets the Doctorate for ‘Narthaka in Indian Dance with special reference to Bharatanatyam’ from Hampi Kannada University.

After Dr Jayamala this prolific actor and humble Sridhar S gets the doctorate for presentation of papers on a topic. Doctorate of Literature was given to Sridhar on 9th June 2014. For the past 30 yrs Sridhar has been an exponent of Bharatanatyam and received high acclaim for his performances. He was initially trained in Bharatanatyam by Guru Smt.Radha Sridhar of Bengaluru. Later inspired by the Kalakshetra (Chennai) style of Bharatanatyam received advance training from Sri M.R.Krishnamurthy (Bengaluru) and Smt.Krishnaveni Lakshmanan(Chennai).

Sridhar acted in lead roles in many films in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi and won many awards for my acting - Best actor award from the Karnataka for role in "Santa Shishunala shareefa" directed by Sri Nagabharana being one of them.
